This is your legal proof of marriage that most agencies will require. You will need this document to change your name at Social Security and DMV, among other places. This document has your names, your date of birth, your mailing address, your marriage date and location, the officiants name, address, and signature, the name of your witness, certificate number, and embossed Clark County seal.

This document includes your names, date of marriage, date of recording, instrument number, application number, embossed Clark County seal. This may be required by some agencies.

This is the Certified Copy of the Marriage License Application you signed at the Marriage Bureau. This is the only document with your signatures on it. This document alone will not serve as proof of marriage but it may be required by some agencies along with the Certified Marriage Certificate and the Certified Abstract of Marriage.

This document will be required, along with the Apostille Document, in some countries. See the Apostille Description below.

An Apostille is a certified document that is attached to your marriage document. It is issued by the Secretary of State and it’s purpose is to authenticate your marriage documents for use in other countries. You will need Apostille Documents to have your marriage recognized outside of the United States. The Apostille document will be attached (stapled) to your Certified Marriage Certificate. The purchase of this Apostille includes the Certified Marriage Certificate that it will be attached to.

The following countries will also require the Affidavit of the Marriage License: Brazil, Italy, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany. Be sure to add that to your cart as well for use in these countries.
